LAS VEGAS PLAYER OF THE YEAR Top Nominations
TRAVIS ROSEBERRY
-- For the third year, Travis led his team in goal scoring. He has 37 goals, a very high number for a first-year midget player with the Las Vegas Mustangs. He was previously high goal scorer for the 1999-2000 AAA Vail bantams and the 1998-1999 AA Team Las Vegas bantams.
SPIKE NEELY
-- Tremendous, all-hustle, all-heart winger who wound up with a 25-goal season for the Mustangs 17-and-under team. He's a puck hunter who attacks against top defenses. A terrific skater and player who had a shockingly great winter.
BILLY TUFANO
-- Arugably the best Las Vegas roller player in action today. He has had another high-point season for Larry Sanford's 16-and-under team. Billy is regarded as one of the top roller players in the nation, a super-clutch goal scorer in the biggest of games.

MICAH SANFORD
-- Our greatest, most thrilling skater who carries the torch for every Las Vegas player. After starring for many Las Vegas ice and roller teams, he made the leap to Junior A hockey where he was a center for the Chilliwack Chiefs in the BCHL. There, he got increased ice time throughout the regular season. He scored 13 goals, added 9 assists and in the playoffs knocked in two more goals. He is our first to break out into bigtime hockey.
EDDIE SAMUELS
-- He had his best winter skate in years, scoring 26 goals, adding 38 assists for a AAA Vail bantam team which played 47 of its 52 games on the road. Scored many super-clutch goals against top teams throughout the Midwest and helped Vail go through a magical 11-0-3 run right before Christmas. He's an assistant captain who is presently helping his team prepare for the Tier I National Bantam Championships in Philadelphia April 4-7.

MOST IMPROVED Top Nominations
EDDIE DEL GROSSO
-- A bantam callup who had a fabulous season with Rob Pallin's Las Vegas 17-and-under ice team. Eddie worked himself in playing shape last summer, evolved into a top roller player and then turned his energies to ice. He's a smart defender who makes terrific decisions. He's also a hard-hitting player who wipes out many forwards in his territory.
J.C. CARON
-- For years, he has been a top roller star. This winter he turned to ice and worked his way onto Rob Pallin's Triple Threat Line which includes Travis Roseberry and Spike Neely. J.C. is a hard worker who doubles as a heavy hitter on the line, protecting his two linemates. He's a terrific transition from roller to ice and become a top player in a very short time.

ROB PALLIN
-- He took a 4-31 program and completely spun it around, adding top players and putting in a disciplined style of play. The Las Vegas Mustangs had a terrific season, putting themselves on the hockey map thanks to coach P.
LARRY SANFORD
-- The top roller coach of all time in Las Vegas. >From a very small Crystal Palace wood rink on Rancho Drive, he built a powerful elite travel program which won many gold and silver medals. He presently has a top 16-and-under team which is on the road most weekends.
